Darci Lynne has two special talents that just happened to intertwine in the best way possible.
When she walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage for her first live performance, she had a new friend to introduce to the crowd.
She brought out a new puppet, a mouse named Oscar, who had a pressing secret he couldn’t hold in any longer.
Oscar revealed that ever since Mel B slammed the Golden Buzzer for Darci Lynne’s ventriloquist singing act, he had fallen in love with her.
Naturally, he had a song prepared.
In the video below, posted on August 15, 2017, Darci Lynne and Oscar listen as the music begins to play. The young ventriloquist uses her double talent and makes Oscar sing his feelings.
Oscar belts out The Jackson 5’s “Who’s Lovin’ You,” and the entire crowd is instantly captivated. It’s as if they don’t know what to focus on first — Oscar the mouse puppet’s performance or the fact that Darci Lynne is hitting these notes with her mouth shut.
In the end, the judges jump to their feet before the performance even ends. There is no contest when it comes to this kind of talent.
