A vaginal birth in Alaska will set a family back, on average, $10,413, while a C-section will cost them on average $14,528

Parents in Alabama will shell out the least for a vaginal birth, only $5,017 on average, while Washington, DC is the cheapest for a C-section, costing, on average, only $7,439

Here in Washington the average cost is $6,482 with an average C-Section costing $9,546.
