This Campaign Ad Created A Firestorm In Illinois. Should It Be Removed?


Republican State Rep. Jeanne Ives, who is running against Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner in the Republican primary, released an ad on Saturday. It immediately caused a firestorm online among transgender people, feminists and immigration activists who criticized the ad. So much so, some Republicans and Democrats want the ad to be removed. Pat Brady, the former Illinois Republican chairman, branded the ad 'racist, bigoted and homophobic' in a tweet.  Here's the ad for you to see..
