President Trump joined the country in remembering the fallen soldiers who paid the ultimate price this Memorial Day. But not all of his behavior is being celebrated.
On Twitter, the president's commentary created a huge controversy (made up???) – “Happy Memorial Day! Those who died for our great country would be very happy and proud at how well our country is doing today,” he wrote. “Best economy in decades, lowest unemployment numbers for Blacks and Hispanics EVER (& women in 18years), rebuilding our Military and so much more. Nice!” The response in the Twitterverse was swift – and hasn’t been very complimentary. Many veterans told the president that this shouldn't have been about him, but about those who died for our country.
So what do you think, is this another media made up controversy, or the president lost focus on who should be remembered on Memorial day?
