Judge: Separated families must be reunited within 30 days

Breaking overnight, a federal judge in San Diego is ordering the government to reunite more than two-thousand migrant children and their parents who were separated at the border. And while President Trumphad already signed an executive order to end the separation of families at the border, the ruling locked that in.

Under the decision, the government is required to reunite children under five-years-old with their parents within two weeks. Children older than that have to be returned to their parents within 30 days. The President signed an executive order last week ending the practice of separating families – after coming under fire from both sides of the aisle. Still, the administration has been slow to reunite children with parents.

.What do you think of the judge's decision?
