SHARE If You Remember His Name.. CLUE: part animal

One of my radio idols! Wolfman Jack!!! His real name was Robert Weston Smith,  and he was known as Wolfman Jack. He was an American disc jockey. He was well known for his gravelly voice, he credited it for his success, saying, "It's kept meat and potatoes on the table for years for Wolfman and Wolfwoman. A couple of shots of whiskey helps it. I've got that nice raspy sound. (Wikipedia)

I used to listen to cassettes with his recording that were passed around my school. He was so cool and he inspired me to be a DJ. I believe there was a cartoon about him. One of the best! Please SHARE if you know who he was!
