I don't need to remember, I still have my old potato peeler. This one stayed in my house for a long time. I inherited from mom and mom inherited from grandma. It is so old but yet it works great. We use it  for every vegetable, carrots, tomatoes, it never fails! I'm not exaggerating I think it 50 or more year old....By the way, the new potato peelers become dull so fast, they are a waste of money.
