BREAKING! Twelve dead as trenchcoat-wearing gunman storms 'student night'

There are reports coming in at this hour that multiple people – at least 11 at last check – have been shot at a bar in Thousand Oaks, California. A deputy is among the injured.

The shooter reportedly opened fire inside the Borderline Bar and Grill just after midnight local time. As such, the Ventura County Fire Department as well as local police are warning people to stay away from the area as they look for the suspect.

Garo Kuredjian said overnight. “We can't confirm the shooter is in custody at this point.” As for that shooter, witnesses say the person was dressed all in black and entered the club firing. No other details about casualties have been confirmed.
