PRESIDENT TRUMP claimed the midterm elections were a victory for him and his party . . . but boy was he in a testy mood during his press conference yesterday.
Things really went south when CNN's JIM ACOSTA asked Trump why he has called the migrant caravan that's traveling toward the U.S. an "invasion".
After some back-and-forth, Trump said, quote, "I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN . . . and if you did it well, your ratings would be much better."
Acosta tried to keep talking, but Trump cut him off and demanded that his microphone be taken. At that point, a young female intern tried to take the mic from him. He held onto it for a few seconds before finally letting her take it.
Even without a mic, Acosta tried to keep talking, and Trump told him, quote, "CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn't be working for CNN."
He also told him, quote, "When you report fake news, which CNN does a lot, you are the enemy of the people." Trump also had angry exchanges with several other reporters.
