in #CASE you missed it… Staff Replaces Coworker’s Stolen Car

The crew at a restaurant in Louisiana all pitched in to help one of their own.

The staff at Ruffino’s on the River in Lafayette, Louisiana stepped up to help one of their coworkers in need. The crew pitched in to buy a new car for a longtime employee after his was stolen from the restaurant’s parking lot recently.

Members of the management team at Ruffino’s shared tearful videos of the surprise on Facebook, explaining that Kea’s car was stolen and they decided they had to do something to help, so they all donated to get him a replacement. For the big reveal, manager Ruffin Rodrigue walks Kea outside with his arm around his shoulder, then they see a crowd of coworkers standing together, and when they part, the shiny silver car for him is parked there.

“You’re family right?” Rodrigue tells him. “You’ve been here a long time, you work your butt off. We want you to be here as long as you can be here. We got you a little something.”

Kae’s face shows he’s shocked and he breaks down in tears, covering his face. Then he’s smiling from ear-to-ear and tells the crew, “I love you all, man” and passes out hugs all around before checking out his new set of wheels
