Polls show president is taking the blame for the Government shutdown

New polls are showing that the president is being blamed for government shutdown. The first one comes courtesy of the Washington Post/ABC News. This poll found that 53 percent say Trump and the Republicans are to blame for the shutdown while 29 percent blame Democrats and 13 percent say both sides have equal responsibility.

But there's another poll, this one a CBS News/YouGov poll found similar results: 47 percent blame the president, 30 percent blame the Democrats, and 20 percent blame both.

Unfortunately that's not all for the president. President Trump's disapproval rating has been steadily increasing since the partial government shutdown began on December 22nd. According to a CNN poll, 57% of people disapprove of the job Trump is doing. That's up five points since last month. The President's approval rating is at 37-percent, which is roughly the same as December. The poll also found that majority of Americans blame Trump for the shutdown over Democrats, 55% to 32%, while nine-percent blamed both sides.

But let's have our own poll here. Who do you blame for the Government shutdown?
