President Trump came up today with a new offer to end the shutdown. He offered to extend the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals protection for 3 years. He also offered Democrats the extension of legal status of immigrants with Temporary Protected Status. In exchange the president wants the money to fund the wall. Unfortunately for the president, Nancy Pelosi dismissed the offer saying it was not enough. The California Democrat says Trump’s offer is “not a good-faith effort” to help the immigrants and could not pass the House.
