Let's Face It Walk at Washington State History Museum

Let’s Face It Walk is a fundraising event of years past to be as inclusive as possible to all of our participants, community partners and SACPC Board of Directors, staff and volunteers. This issue affects us all and we want everyone to feel welcome and represented at our events.

The spirit of the event is to serve those affected by sexual assault and sex trafficking and to support them in their healing. The name "Let's Face It" expresses our desire to face this issue together to fight sexual violence in our community.

Let’s Face It Walk provides SACPC with financial support needed to provide healing through advocacy and therapy for those affected by sexual assault and abuse as well as supports our Sex Trafficking Response and Awareness Program of Washington (STRAPWA) which provides wrap around case management and unconditional support including resources and referrals for medical, legal, therapeutic and social services across Pierce County for youths and young adults who identify as having experienced Commercial Sexual Exploitation either in the past or present.
