Tucker Carlson says he 'won't bow to the mob' over his 'racist comments

Fox News host Tucker Carlson has answered to outrage over tapes released by Media Matters of some controversial calls he made to the raunchy radio program “Bubba the Love Sponge.” Dating from 2006 to 2011, Carlson made sexist remarks about women, including calling them “primitive,” and even defended Warren Jeffs, who’s now serving life in prison for child sexual abuse.

You can check out the clips and the transcripts courtesy of Media Matters HERE. But guess what? Carlson doesn’t seem so bothered by the tapes, and he’s not apologizing. In a statement posted on Twitter,he basically tells people to watch his show, and come on the show if they have a problem.

“Media Matters caught me saying something naughty on a radio show more than a decade ago,” he writes. “Rather than express the usual ritual contrition, how about this: I’m on television every weeknight live for an hour. If you want to know what I think, you can watch.”
