If you thought President Trump was done roasting the intelligence community, you’d be wrong. In an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Trump says he’s happy the 22-months-long Russia investigation is over…but he’s got some bones to pick with the FBI, the CIA…and Congressman Adam Schiff(who he calls a “criminal”).
Trump accused FBI officials of committing "treason" – specifically naming former FBI Director James Comey(as a "terrible guy") and referring to former CIA Director John Brennan as possibly mentally ill. "I think Brennan's a sick person, I really do," Trump noted. "I believe there's something wrong with him, for him to come out of the CIA and act that way was so disrespectful to the country and to the CIA. He was not considered good at what he did. He was never a respected guy."
Trump went on to say that lives have been ruined because of the 22-month probe and now the public knows there was no crime at the heart of it. As you might recall, Robert Mueller's team returned 37 indictments and five convictions, most by pleading guilty. Trump said the entire experience was terrible for the country and that no future president should ever have to go through again. And about that investigation? Mr. Trump refers to the whole thing as an attempted "illegal takeover." Source:Fox News
DO you agree with the president and think the FBI is treasonous?
