Democrats Demand To See Trump's Tax Returns

House Democrats have made it official: they’re going to the IRS for President Trump's tax returns. Committee Chairman Richard Neal apparently sent a letter to the IRS demanding Trump's tax returns from 2013 through 2018.

And not only is the committee requesting his personal taxes, but also tax returns from several organizations connected to the President. Trump has refused to release his tax returns, claiming they have been under audit.

Added to that, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said in a recent Ways and Means Committee hearingthat the department would follow the law and protect the President's tax returns just as it would do with any citizen.

Either way, President Trump says he doesn't think he'll give in to the demands.Speaking at a White House photo op, Trump remarked that he's under audit, and as long as that's the case, he's not going to be inclined to provide that information. When asked about the situation about providing six years of returns, the President cracked, "Is that all? Usually it's 10, so I guess they're giving up.”

What do you think, should he show them?
