For some people, going on vacation with your entire family is anything but a vacation. And one woman’s husband just took a drastic measure to make sure his next trip wasn't ruined by her mom and siblings. A woman who goes by the handle 'shoeshoebadoo' took to Mumsnet to complain that her hubby changed their vacation plans without telling her.
Seems her husband booked a trip to a resort for them and their two children - great! Then the woman’s mother, sister and brother booked a trip to the same location on the same dateswithout asking first -NOT great. At least, not for the hubs. Once he found out about the added guests, he immediately changed the dates, which the woman says caused her mother to “break down in tears.”
The woman said she doesn't think she'll be able to forgive her hubby for his actions, and when asked if she was being unreasonable, folks on the mommy forum had mixed opinions.
Many agreed that the mother-in-law was being “manipulative” by booking the trip without asking.Others thought the husband simply overacted. What do you think?
