76% of Gen Z Workers Think They Should Get Promoted Within the First Year

Good news for millennials. When it comes to feeling entitled, you've finally got some competition. A new study looked at Generation Z, and what their expectations are at work. That's anyone born between 1996 and 2010.

And it found 76% of people between 18 and 23 think they should get promoted within their first YEAR at a new job . . . including 27% who said six months . . . and 5% who said LESS than six months. Here are five more stats from the survey . . .

1. 62% of 18 to 23-year-olds say being praised by their boss in front of other people is important to them.

2. 20% said they need daily feedback from their boss, or they might quit.

3. 40% expect to make over $100,000 a year someday.

4. 77% said work contributes to their stress, compared to 64% of adults overall.

5. 36% of managers think Generation Z will be harder to manage than millennials. 29% also think they'll be harder to train. And 27% don't think they'll work as hard as millennials do.
