Parents want ban on energy drinks for minors after son's death

I admitted, I was addicted to energy drinks when I was younger. You know, it would help stay awake late at work, but I have to say, ti was really bad to my body. It really affected my stomach and I ended up in the hospital. I can't say it was all the energy drinks' fault, but I bet it has something to do with it. So when I read about this story, I thought it was important to share it with you and see what you think about it...

Two South Carolina parents are advocating for a bill that would ban the sale of energy drinks to minors after their son died from a caffeine-induced cardiac event. 2 years ago, their 16 year old son, drank a coffee, soda, and energy drink within two hours. He collapsed in class, and later died. It was ruled that the poor kid died from caffeine-induced cardiac event. So now these parents are behind this bill that will prohibit energy drinks for minors. You know what, I hate banning things, but I agree on this one.... What do you think?
