Attorney General Bill Barr REFUSES to testify about Mueller

The Justice Department said Barr would not show up for a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday because the Democratic-led panel had overruled Barr’s objections and would allow staff lawyers to question him. As you can imagine Democrats are furious with some of them asking for his resignation. Democratic Caucus chairman Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said Wednesday afternoon that Democrats "plan on subpoenaing" Barr "if he decides not to show up."

Federal lawmakers have only cited one U.S. attorney general for contempt, Eric Holder of the Obama administration, for refusing to hand over documents related to the 'Operation Fast and Furious' gun-running scandal that plagued the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
