Florida man scared raccoon off his boat, left it to die in the ocean

Viral Facebook video shows a raccoon being forced off a local lawyer's boat and into the water. Then the lawyer leaves the raccoon to drown instead of helping it. “Get off my fu–ing boat,” Cope yelled at the animal before deciding: “We’re just going to have to push him off.” The lawyer posted a video to Facebook that showed a raccoon, which he called “trash panda” roaming around his boat as he attempts to scare it away,according to the Tampa Bay Times. The lawyer admitted he let the raccoon die. After the video gained attention online and the state wildlife agency launched an investigation into the incident. Should he be charged with animal cruelty?
