A Taco Bell employee has been fired after her profanity-laced racist rant against a Muslim customer went viral. The incident occurred at a Bridgeton, Missouri Taco Bell where the drive-thru employee is seen attacking a customer named Tarek Hamdan for being Muslim.
Apparently, Hamdan was ordering food to eat before starting his daily fast for Ramadan, a holy month of fasting. The unnamed employee told Hamdan that all Muslims are terrorists. Hamdan tried explaining to the employee that he is just as American as she is and that not all Muslims are terrorists, but he barely got a word in as she continued to hurl insults at him.
Taco Bell has apologized for the incident, saying "we welcome everyone in our restaurants and do not tolerate this type of behavior."
