President Trump Departs White House For Bedminster, NJ Estate

President Trump says hate has no place in the United States. His comments come as he spoke to reporters after spending the weekend at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

The President says he spoke at length with Attorney General William Barr, FBI Director Christopher Wray and the governors of Texas and Ohio following two mass shootings this weekend that left a total of 29 people dead and dozens more injured. Trump explained this is a mental illness problem and it has to be stopped after going on for years and years. He indicated his administration is considering additional action, potentially aimed at addressing the problem of mental illness.

The President offered his condolences to the families impacted in El Paso and Dayton. He also thanked law enforcement for their work, as he said both situations could have been a lot worse. President Trump added that “a lot of things are happening now”
