This information must have been hard for president Trump to swallow. The remaining eight patients being treated at University Medical Center in El Paso, Texas following a deadly mass shooting over the weekend declined to meet with the president during his visit there Wednesday.

The hospital spokesman where the patients are recovering said: "This is a very sensitive time in their lives. Some of them said they didn’t want to meet with the President, some of them didn’t want any visitors.” The statement was provided to the Washington Post and CNN. These patients though met with some Democratic Officials. But not everybody avoided the president. 2 of the patients that have been discharged came back to the hospital because they wanted to meet the president.
