Man Who Caused A Panic At MO Was Trying A Social Experiment

The Missouri man who created a panic at a Springfield Walmart store last week by walking in to shop armed with two guns says he was testing if the retailer "honored the Second Amendment."

Dmitriy Andreychenko is facing a charge of making a terrorist threat and faces up to four years in prison if found guilty. He allegedly told police he was filming the incident on his cellphone in case he was told to leave the store, and bought the guns for protection after the shootings in Dayton and El Paso.

A Springfield police officer has said that Andreychenko did not expect the customer reaction he got. The suspect also also reportedly told police his sister warned him against his "social experiment," telling him it was a bad idea.
