Mom Makes Son’s Friends Sign A Good Behavior Contract Before Sleepover

Sleepovers may be a lot of fun for kids, but parents usually need to set a few ground rules to make sure things don’t get out of control. A mom may have taken that a bit too far by creating a contract for her son’s friends to sign before they came to a slumber party at her house.

The contract was shared on Reddit's Insane Parents community and while some of her requests seem reasonable, like not turning the volume on gadgets or the TV up too loud, some of her rules are over the top. The mom demands that youngsters agree not to touch, tickle, complain or get naked at her house during the sleepover. The contract states: “Touching/tickling of other people will result in immediate physical separation that could remain in place until pick up time.”

The mom also goes into detail about the kiddos keeping their clothes on, writing: “Changing of clothes will be done independently and in private space with the individual not in the company of anyone else. This means no nudity in front of anyone else, whatsoever.”

  • And by the way? Not only will the kids not get invited back if they don’t follow the rules, they’ll have their devices taken away if they break that rule about keeping the volume down. But if everyone DOES follow the rules, she says they’ll get a special brunch the next day.
  • Of course, some Redditors wonder if her son will still have any friends after the sleepover and one writes “It must suck to be this woman’s kid.”
