Imagine waking up one day and checking your bank account to see how much money you have in it and there's an extra $37 million dollars in it?
That was the reality for one Dallas woman. Her bank account had a deposit for $37 million dollars.
Ruth Balloon thought it was a Christmas miracle but as it turns out, it wasn't a miracle, it was just a clerical error. That's what the bank told her husband when he called to double-check the deposit.
The bank apologized and took the money back out but Ruth says that she can now say that for one day, she was a multi-millionaire.
