Sure the long standing tradition of sending cards to friends and family during the holidays is well documented.
Today most folks send a card with photos of the family on them, highlighting the joys of the past year, milestones, etc.
However back in the 1800’s prior to the modern conveniences that allow us to customize our cards, folks in simpler times had to take what they could get.
What they got was some rather strange cards by today’s standards. Not sure what people were thinking back then but honestly some of these cards are just straight up creepy McCrepperson!
