in #CASE you missed it… The Hardest Working Cities In America

There’s no doubt a lot of Americans work really hard in order to be able to achieve their goals, whatever those may be, but it turns out folks in some cities have a much stronger work ethic, and put in more work hours, than in others.

Well, WalletHub just released their list of the Hardest Working Cities in America, judging 116 of the largest cities in the country in variety of areas.

Those areas include:

Direct Work Factors, as in average work week hours, employment rate, and workers leaving vacation on the table.

Indirect Work Factors, like commute time, workers with multiple jobs and leisure time spent per day.

Based on all of that, folks in Anchorage, Alaska earned the title of Hardest Working City, with a score of 80.07

Anchorage lands in fourth for direct work factors and eighth for indirect.

Topping the list specifically for direct work factors is Austin, Texas, which ranks ninth overall.

Salt Lake City, Utah is tops for indirect work factors, although it lands in 54th place overall.

On the other end of the spectrum, Detroit, Michigan came in dead last on the list, with a score of 32.96, ranking 116 for direct work and 48 for indirect work.
