in #CASE you missed it… Mystery Mom Leaves Free Lunches

An act of kindness in a Maryland neighborhood is reminding people there’s still good in the world.

Sometimes a crisis brings people together and communities across the country are showing kindness during the coronavirus outbreak. Like in Severna Park, Maryland, where an anonymous mom is leaving bagged lunches outside at a busy roundabout for “anyone who needs it” every single day.

She sets a table up and there’s a sign that reads: “For anyone who needs it: I will be leaving some healthy sack lunches on this table for you if you are hungry and need to eat. Made with love by a neighborhood mom in a clean and sanitized kitchen. I will leave this table up from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m."

Kimberly Gussow, a local parent, got one for her son and it had a ham sandwich, fruit snacks, an apple, and an orange inside. She says the good deed makes her embrace her community even more and she feels proud to live there. “It's more than just putting a sack of lunch on the table,” Gussow said. “She’s putting goodness back into the world.”

Gotta love someone who’s doing good, not for the attention, but just to be nice.
