Joe Exotic may be a larger-than-life character in “Tiger King,” but even he’s not immune to COVID-19. As you know, he’s currently serving 22 years for a murder-for-hire plot against his archenemy,Carole Baskin.
According toEric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin, the directors of the Netflix docuseries, the man also known as Joe Maldanado-Passage – who was recently transferred from a county jail to a federal penitentiary in Texas – is in isolation. Because there was a coronavirus outbreak at the county jail, they isolated him after the transfer.
At this point, it’s not known if Joe tested positive for it because he’s currently cut off from phones.
