It's possible that the best way to have a good relationship with your in-laws is to live far, far apart. So this really messes that up . . .
A woman in the U.K. recently posted about her situation on a parenting forum called Mumsnet. She says her husband's parents just bought the house NEXT DOOR . . . and she's worried she can't handle having her, quote, "judgmental" in-laws right there.
She's even thinking about getting a DIVORCE.
Quote, "I like my own space and feel like they are going to invade it. It's making me want to split from my husband, who I have a great relationship with, [because] it's making me resent him."
She asked if she's being unreasonable, and the consensus is . . . maybe a divorce is unreasonable, but finding a reason to move away is NOT.
