90-Year-Old Couple Reunites After Wife Recovers
A couple who tied the knot way back in 1952 recently had to spend a month apart after she came down with COVID-19. Joyce and Don Hoffman say it’s the longest they’ve ever been apart in their 67-year marriage.
Fortunately, Joyce only had minor symptoms and their assisted living facility in Indianapolis just celebrated her “graduation” from their coronavirus unit. Now the 90-year-old lovebirds have been reunited and they are thrilled to be back together. Their granddaughter says they couldn’t stop holding hands and staff helped lift Joyce up to embrace Don.
“You look so wonderful ...so beautiful,” he said to his wife. And she replied, “How can you be so cute?”
