An Elderly Woman Builds Front Yard “Zoo” To Spread Joy

in #CASE you missed it… Elderly Woman Builds Front Yard “Zoo” To Spread Joy

A woman in Pawtucket, Rhode Island came up with a unique way to lift people’s spirits. Nancy Connor, 86, has created a “zoo” in her front yard and says she used every penny of her stimulus money to build the stuffed animal attraction.

Nancy says she kept seeing people walk by looking sad and she came up with the idea for the zoo because people love animals. With the help of a neighbor, she started building the zoo. Now people walk past it all the time and she says it’s worth all the effort because everyone is smiling when they see it.

It’s worth everything,” Nancy says. “It makes me happy to see people happy again, even if it’s only for a couple of minutes.”
