TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Officer Rewards Store Clerk

An Indiana police officer saw grocery store employee Caleb Harris going out of his way to help an elderly blind shopper and rewarded him for his good deed.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department K9 officer Molly Groce and her K9 Lando have more than 74-thousand Instagram followers and she recently got them involved in a “pay it forward challenge” to surprise a deserving supermarket clerk.

Officer Groce saw Meijer employee Caleb Harris going out of his way to help an elderly blind shopper, who is a regular customer at the grocery store. She put out a call to her social media following asking for donations to pay Harris’ act of kindness forward. And in just 48 hours, they had given $47-hundred!

Harris was completely surprised by the generosity when Groce gave him the money. He says he plans to use some of it to buy a vehicle and give the rest to his mom, who is currently battling breast cancer.
