in #CASE you missed it… Hacks To Keep Your Home Clean

As much as we love a sparkling clean home, no one wants to spend all weekend working to get it that way. Most of us have a cleaning to-do list that’s filled with chores, but according to the pros, it’s possible to clean your home quickly and efficiently in just 10 minutes a day. Seriously.

Cleaning expert Katrina Keith owns residential cleaning service Molly Maid of DFW Metro Northwest and she says these tricks will help you get the house clean and neat in a snap.

Multitask to the max - The key to getting your house clean in 10 minutes a day is multitasking. That means figuring out which chores you can do at the same time, like vacuuming while laundry is in the machine and using the squeegee to clean the shower door while you’re in the shower. Organize your to-do list to see how multitasking will help you get more done in the same amount of time.

Clean as you go - Especially in the kitchen, tidying up as you go can help you cut down on the time you spend cleaning. Wash pots and load the dishwasher while dinner is in the oven and wipe down splatters and spills before they get caked-on and you’ll save time in the long run.

Put things away - Before bed, spend a few minutes clearing the clutter that was left out during the day. Cleaning takes less time when you can sweep, vacuum and wipe down everything without having to first put everything on the floors and counters away. Plus, you’ll get to wake up to a nice tidy home.

Assign a day of the week to a particular room - Cleaning your whole house takes time, so try splitting it up by doing different rooms on certain days. If you spread it out over the week, spending 10 minutes to change your sheets and vacuum your room on a Tuesday, it doesn’t seem so bad. And if you keep up with it, it won’t take you all weekend to get everything done.
