TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Boy Sells Xbox, Mows Yards To Buy Single Mom A Car

A 13-year-old boy wanted to help his single mom, who was going through a rough patch.

There are good kids and then there’s William Rabillo. He’s a 13-year-old who was willing to do anything he could to help out his mom, Krystal Preston, as she was going through a rough patch.

He started with doing yard work to bring in some extra income to help her make ends meet and then he started searching online for a used car he could buy his mom.

William found a 1999 Chevy Metro and started bargaining with the woman selling it. This young teenager was even willing to give up his Xbox to close the deal and get the car. He says the seller turned down his gaming system offer at first, but then she had a change of heart and accepted the Xbox and William bought his mom a much-needed set of wheels when he was just 13!

When he showed his mom what he’d done for her, she says it was “the shock of my life.” “I lost it. I bawled so bad,” Krystal explains. “There’s no words that can express my gratitude and how proud I am.”
