Social media was abuzz yesterday over 32 tons of carrots being dumped on a University of London road by a truck.
Now we know why. The school shared that the carrots are an art installation by artist Rafael Perez. The art is titled “Grounding” and is part of a Master’s in Fine Arts Degree show.
Perez is using the exhibit to make a statement about food waste. the good news is, the whole pile will be donated to animals after the show is over.
