A 91-year-old British woman is recovering after being stranded on her bedroom floor for two days.
Rosemary Frank fell in her Worcestershire home and could not get up, but she managed to knock over a potted plant. Frank reportedly ate the soil from the pile of dirt in order to survive.
A volunteer bus driver managed to find Frank days later, because she missed her regular ride to the hair salon. Rosemary was taken to the hospital where doctors say she was six hours from death, having become extremely dehydrated and fractured her wrist in three places.
Frank says she doesn't actually remember much of what happened. After a 10-day hospital stay, she is now at home with her 60-year-old son, who says he got her the life-saving plant just days earlier.
