Sometimes you just know a song is going to be a hit - and sometimes, you're just as surprised as everyone else.  Jon Bon Jovi says he had no idea that "Livin' on a Prayer' would become one of his most iconic songs.
In an interview withThe Irish Times, he remembered writing the song with Richie Sambora and thinking "Eh, it's okay..." Sambora told him "You're an idiot. It's really good."
Of course, Richie was right - "Livin' On A Prayer" ended up going to No. 1 and selling 3 million copies. Bon Jovi says it bought him a house - in fact, "it bought a lot of people houses".
