Violet Jackson was a happy six year-old when she got sick. She was diagnosed with Leukemia last month and among the treatments was an infusion of blood and platelets at Omaha Children’s Hospital. Mom Wendywas so thankful for the blood someone gave that she donated blood herself.

Then Violet’s teen sister went a step further.Eden organized a community blood drive. Right now, in case you didn’t know, there is a serious blood shortage across the country. So what happened at this drive was amazing. Not only was it a success, but they reached full capacity!

Eden is proud that awareness was raised and that the community came together.
