Learning to drive can be stressful, but a 47-year-old mother in England has been fighting that stress for a long time. Isabelle Stedman had her first driving lesson when she was 17 years old, but over the past 30 years, she hasn’t passed her driving test because she faints when she gets behind the wheel.
She says when she gets in a car “it feels like I’ve never been in a car before and it’s terrifying.” She estimates she’s spent over $10k on lessons over the years but isn’t any closer to passing her test. You have to admire her determination, though; Stedman says she hopes to one day get her license, even though she expects her children will get theirs before she does.
