The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, in Florida, evacuated a portion of the South Beach area after residents reported finding a mine by the sea wall.
Then, another resident reported a second device by a roadway. From there, the St. Lucie Bomb Squad and the Air Force Bomb Squad were called to the scene.
Both devices were then safely removed, safely destroyed…and no one was hurt. As of now, no details have been released as to where these land mines might’ve come from.
