Teen Rescues Four Sisters From House Fire

A Wisconsin family lost their home and all of their belongings in a fire, but thanks to the quick actions of their 13-year-old son, all of the kids are okay.

Briar Omar is credited with saving his four sisters from the blaze that broke out while their parents were at the grocery store.

Their mom and dad had only been gone about 10 minutes when he smelled smoke and saw the playpen was on fire. Briar is the oldest and was able to get all of his sisters, ranging in age from six months to 13, out of the house safely. And he was able to save their dog, Mandy, too.

“We’re just so thankful that every single one of them made it out,” says the grateful mother, KellyOmar. “So if it wasn’t for my son I don’t know where I’d be.”
