Mom Reunites With Lost Daughter Who Was Abducted In 2007

After 14 long years, a mother has been reunited with her daughter, who was abducted in 2007.

Angelica Vences-Salgado hadn’t seen her child since then, when she was only six years old.

According to the Clermont Police Department in Florida, the mom called them to say she had been contacted by her long lost daughter,Jacqueline Hernandez, on social media.

The girl, who is now 19, told her mother that she was in Mexico and asked her to meet her at The Point of Entry in Laredo, Texas, on September 10th. The police coordinated with state and federal agencies to verify if the female was actually Angelica’s daughter.

And when she arrived at the Laredo border, authorities from Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Laredo Police Department confirmed she was indeed Jacqueline Hernandez. The mother then got the emotional reunion with her daughter that she’d been waiting for all these years.
