Where was Brad Pitt when daughter Shiloh, 18, officially dropped "Pitt" from her last name on Monday (August 19)?
According to Page Six, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star was on his way to visit best friend George Clooney in Italy when the teen legally got rid of her famous father's last name. Pitt was actually on a private jet headed to Milan to spend time with Clooney and his wife when Shiloh Jolie-Pitt became Shiloh Jolie.
The teen filed legal paperwork to drop her last name upon turning 18 in June, and never looked back. Immediately following her decision, sources reported that the silver screen king was devastated, but held onto hope that he would be able to "forge a bond with the kids as they get older and have a life of their own."
The 18-year-old is one of six children (Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Knox, 16, and Vivienne, 16) estranged exes Angelina Jolie and Pitt share.
Maddox, Zahara, and Vivienne have all been extremely vocal about the distaste they bear for the latter-half of their surname in recent years, publicly referring to themselves sans Pitt, and signing documents using only Jolie. While Pax and Knox have yet to comment on their last name, Pax, who was recently involved in a horrible e-bike accident of which Pitt expressed concern, referred to his father as a "world class a–hole" in a 2020 Father's Day post.
Shiloh is the Fight Club standout's only child to legally drop his last name to date.
