To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Portland Trailblazers, the team has unveiled a special court that will be featured in the 2019-2020 season. It made its debut in the original home of the Blazers, the Memorial Coliseum. The court has a retro feel paying homage to the team's legacy that began in 1970. The iconic pinwheel logo shares center court with the number 5 and lower case rip city lettering along the sides. Blazer legend Terry Porter was on hand for the unveiling and he loves the classic look. "Less is more" he said. As for what fans think, we'll soon find out. Take a look at the new retro court for yourself!
The 2019-2020 NBA season schedule has been set and the Blazers home opener is October 23 against the Denver Nuggets. Didn't we just beat them in the Western Conference finals last season? Twenty Blazer games will be nationally televised. Go Blazers!
