Antonio Basco lost his only family member, his wife, in the El Paso shooting and now he’s asking the public to help celebrate her life with him.
Basco and wife Margie Reckard were married for 22 years and had no one but each other. That’s why Perches Funeral Home wrote that Basco hopes as many people as possible can attend Margie’s funeral.
Along with a heartbreaking photo of the widower kneeling before a memorial to the shooting victims, the funeral home writes "Mr. Antonio Basco was Married for 22yrs to his wife Margie Reckard, He had no other family. He welcomes anyone to attend his Wife's services.” They added Let's show him & his Wife some El Paso Love.
The service is Friday night from 7 to 11 pm Eastern (5 to 9 local time). You can find Perches Funeral Home at Hondo Pass in El Paso. If you can’t make it, the funeral home is welcoming cards and flowers.
