Devo frontman Mark Mothersbaugh is hitting the Billboard charts for the first time as a solo act.
Mothersbaugh has become well-known outside of Devo as a film and TV composer. In 1998 he wrote the score for the Disney Channel movie "Halloweentown." Now, 25 years later, his "Halloweentown Theme" is on the TikTok Billboard Top 50, where it debuted last week at number 24 because of all the plays it got on TikTok over the Halloween weekend.
Mothersbaugh also wrote the music heard in “Rugrats.”
