in #CASE you missed it… Mother finds lost son, after 33 years apart
When I was four years old I got lost from my mom at the University Street fair. I recall I had told I wanted ice cream and didn’t want to wait for her to finish her conversation so I let go of her hand and walked off to find a cone, a cup or whatever.
My mom was freaked out to say the least running up and down “The Ave” in the U-District looking for me. An hour or so later we reconnected at the information booth / lost and found as some kind hearted volunteer had decided it best I not wander the fair unattended.
So imagine how this one mother felt who has not seen her lost son in 33 years!
Wiphawadee Thisorn reunited with her son by the magic of social media. Four days ago, she searched for him in Facebook, and sure enough she found him, the started chatting and then set a time to meet.
Wiphawadee broke off her relationship with her sons father when he was 3, life was unstable and they moved around so much it was hard to stay in contact.
Her son, Prinya Thisorn, thought that his mom had died and was overjoyed to reconnect with her!
